Julio is a lifelong resident of the
Mohawk Valley and attended the city of Amsterdam school system. Julio received his radio broadcasting license in 1982 at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy New York in a mentoring program. He managed a Local Radio Station from 2000 through 2004 and hosted
a very successful Spanish radio program. Julio is the recipient of the 2002 New York State Assembly’s cultural arts award and was also awarded a cultural arts award by Centro Civico of Amsterdam. In February 2003, Julio became the part time Marketing and Sales Director for the Capital Regions very first Hispanic magazine called Latino
Voice, expanding the magazine’s distribution and readership from 300 issues to over 20,000 in fewer than three years. Julio Currently maintains full time employment with the State of New York, while president of his own Advertising, Marketing and Promotion business called TLE Entertainment in the City of Amsterdam New York.
